Linda Kaucher will be talking about GATS and Mode IV in the context of the failure of the conventional left to even think about let alone engage with the process. The network type thinking behind some of our work, and the principle of stewardship is committed to taking a longer term (and hence process) view of social change since we understand the evolution of changes over time to be crucial in piling inequalities on inequalities.
